What we do during a Performance Tune-Up:
Performance Cooling or Heat Pump Outdoor Unit Tune-Up
- Check refrigerant pressures
- Check outdoor unit capacitor
- Wash outdoor coil, if necessary
- Clear primary condensate drain line
- Add cleaning tablets to condensate pans
Performance Gas Furnace Tune-Up
- Check unit for normal and safe operation
- Clean oxide buildup from vacuum sampling port
- Clean oxide buildup from flame sensor
- Check burner flame for stability
Performance Electric Furnace Tune-Up
- Check resistive elements for correct amperage draw
